12 tags of Christmas - Day { 8 }

Hello...
I'm in the day [8] of my "12 Tags of Christmas"!
Time flies.
Today's tag is taken by neutral colors of Black & White plus touches of Silver and Grey.
I used metal embellishments to purposely highlight the color scheme. At this time, I also put a round piece of mirror with a dark grey heart adhered onto it, to add an extra dimension to the tag.

The Bible Verse is:
"May the God of Hope fill you with all Joy and Peace."
Rom. 15:13 (NIV)

Supplies:
papers - DCWV
metal accents - CTMH
brad - Recollection
marker - ZIG Millennium
ribbons - Joann's
mirror and heart shape - miscellaneous

Have a wonderful evening.

Joyful December

Traditionally this is the busiest month of the year.
This has been a tough year for me, and I know, for a lot of people out there too.
But in between the good and the bad that happened along the year, I want to keep my heart filled with gratitude for the friendships I made and the achievements I got during the year of 2010.

I'm sharing today some of the cards I made for this weekend's demo.
Good night!

Christmas Matchbox - swap " limited edition "

Good morning...
I'm glad to share these matchboxes I made from the "scratch" - yes, I scored the paper, made the box and decorated it, then filled it with some cute pieces and goodies for crafting - anything else beyond scrapbooking and card making.

The two ladies who received the boxes/goodies are from the Christian Paper Artists Group.
I'm member of the group for a while and now swapping for the very first time.
I'm happy I joined this one, the boxes I received from them are both very creative and cute.
The swap was 2 weeks ago.

Supplies: box - paper( Basic Grey, CTMH), glitter glitz, ribbons, brads, stamp and ink pad (CTMH) flowers (Prima), punch(Fiskars).

*Note: The stamp set I used is the brand new ones from Close To My Heart Autumn/Winter collection/idea book. See Image above. It's called Everlasting Life and became one of my favorite right after the CTMH D.C. 2010 Convention. through the letter form, the words, the beauty of these Scriptures. Love this set.

Have a blessed day!

CTMH recipe box in "Magnifique" style

Good morning!

The box project you see here is made with the new CTMH My Creations (recipe box).
I used the Winter new paper collection - Magnifique (featuring the Pacifica/blue and Chocolate shades), this set of patterned papers are so gorgeous!

I love when the paper colors and motifs are universal - I mean, you can use for a wide variety of purposes and for both masculine or feminine themed projects. This is one of those sets.

All supplies used for the box are from CTMH, as sample of my upcoming FUNdamentals classes.

Thanks for visiting me today!

my NSSS card #1

Here is the first card I made for the CTMH NSSS, which is a Faith-based group for ladies who shares the passion for scrapbooking and paper crafting.
I used the Emporium Creative Basics Collection plus the card top and Sweet leaf cardstock for the mat.
Stamps, papers and ink pad are from CTMH. The leaves (punch out) and the buttons are from my craft stash.

Thank you for visiting me today.

Old ideas vs. new inspirations #1

Old ideas = always wanted to create more things featuring a scripture as main focus of the layout.
New inspirations = using new light, happy colors or images to serve as background of the projects.

Then came out with this one: it's the front cover of a journal.
Actually I used the same patterned paper kit and created many of these covers, each with different approach and details but all in same colors finishing.

Will need to finalize the whole journal(s) embellishing - then I'll share them again in the future.

Supplies:
Cardstock, patterned paper, ink pad, butterflies stamps, flowers stamps - CTMH.
Punch - Stampin' Up.
Scripture stamp - Sweet and Sassy Clear stamps.

Have a nice day!

3 projects in ONE evening

I made these 3 projects which were created by a Stampin' Up's demonstrator and friend of mine, Brenda during a bimonthly creative gathering.
They were made last Wednesday. We had so much fun!

All supplies are from Stampin' Up.

Just sharing some more eye-candies.
Have a great day!

Notepad and mini calendar holder

This is a notepad and calendar holder I made a week ago for my friend Brenda. I wanted to create something simple and fun to give her as a little treat but yet functional. I know she likes rooster then I found this notepad set with rooster image to fit and match in colors with the CTMH new Veranda papers(from the 2010 Spring collection) .
Added a Pewter Designer brad for a fancy touch look to the closure.

Supplies are all from CTMH - except the notepad and calendar!

My "Brand New" idea - MBNI project #001(SKETCH)

I had an different idea this morning.
After playing with my son last night, inking and stamping his little hands on colonial white cardstock, I woke up with this - to create a "whole year" mini album - that would hold just his hand-printed images... stamped monthly (in the same day of each month), with different ink colors onto CW cardstock and the coordinated color CS paper (from CTMH papers collection).

To use black color CS mat to match my hand written journaling spot (w/black marker), on each of the 6" x 6" layout page.
Then simply accent to embellish.
Will probably make an album by myself (maybe a simple cardboard covered with patterned paper?) - to keep these cute 12 pages.

I loved the idea right after it got into my mind.
So...hope to get more ideas soon - and this is the #001 of the 50 I'm planning for 2010/2011. Let's see what will inspire me during this new phase of my creations.

Will let my imagination to lead me.

These were fun and easy to make! Had a great time sharing them with the fellow ladies.
