my new [polka dots plant] pinkies - Spring Soft colors

After many years loving shades of blue and black, I'm definitely back to my valueble pinkies.
From my storage bins to ribbons, pinks are so present in my little craft space right now.
And these are the newest additions to my corner of creativity.
Love the fine and intricate details of the leaves and of course, its colors. SO pink.
:)

Are you ready for the Spring too?

Hugs,

ABC Scripture [F], colors and SSS challenge

Good afternoon...

It's quite a rainy day and seems like we're going to have a couple days with rain...
Well, glad I'm pretty much busy "indoors" creating and working and finishing with some of the latest projects - for the classes and gifts that I promised to some friends and relatives.
:)
That's quite a few though. About 7 different themed projects(2 are "year-long" type of project/assignment) .

It has been a while and I'm happy to be"catching up" again.

It's focused on Bible Verses - 2 Kings 17:38 and Prov. 3:1) while using the colors of TCR#49. The final result is this oh-so feminine look page carrying these great words that reminds me to not FORGET about what God has for me...

The Bible Verses here are:

"Do not forget the covenant I have made with you, and do not worship other gods."
(2 Kings 17:38)

"My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart..."
(Proverbs 3:1)

Supplies:
paper: CTMH, Basic Grey; button, stamp and ink: CTMH; alpha and circle chipboard: Making Memories, Darice; lacey doily: Wilton; brad and rhinestone: Recollections; accent fabric flower: Prima; punch: Martha Stewart; marker: ZIG Millennium; felt bird and big satin flower(misc.)

Thank you for visiting my blog,

my NSSS card #3

Hi there...
Thought I'd share the other set of cards I made for the NSSS Monday card swap, back in October. I was having a blast using the scoring board and seeing all the fun effects it can give through simple touches. The pink cardstock stripe was simply scored by 1/4 inch and slightly sanded to show the white core of the paper.

Supplies: papers (CTMH, DCWV), stamp, ink pad, glitter glitz(CTMH), scoring board(MS).

Happy card making,

Baby Jar Sweet Treat

I made these as part of a party's favors, so each guest could get one as little treat - as my "THANK YOU" for joining that event.
Each jar was filled inside with assorted chocolate candies and embellished outside with stripes patterned paper from Paper Garden Collection (CTMH), and a knot in grosgrain pinky ribbon along with the scallop border. A mini round tag carries the THANK YOU simply tied with natural hemp(CTMH). A scallop punched die cut covers partially the lid.
Sorry for the yellowish images!

Do you like to decorate glasses and jars too? If not, think again! You may find something new and different from them! Try it out!

Good night!

3 projects in ONE evening

I made these 3 projects which were created by a Stampin' Up's demonstrator and friend of mine, Brenda during a bimonthly creative gathering.
They were made last Wednesday. We had so much fun!

All supplies are from Stampin' Up.

Just sharing some more eye-candies.
Have a great day!

scrapbook pages layout swap

Good evening!
These pages were made for a swap I was in back to November'09.
The whole layout is quite simple - just few details - with a big "pocket" to put in additional items (memorabilia) such like flight tickets or postcards. And three tag holders to write down the holiday's annotations. I wanted to simplify so the person to use these pages could go ahead and add her own accents, with plenty of spaces to personalize it.

All supplies are from Close To My Heart.
:)
Sorry for the yellowish picture. I'm really on my way to get and share more clear and better shots.

That's for now. Off to organize tomorrow's to-do list.

{my} CTMH Portland Regionals Contest Projects

I made the 2 pages layout and card for the 2009 CTMH Portland Reg. Celebration's Contest.
I'm not the winner of the prize but happy enough to be at TOP 5 for the finals.

All the supplies are from CTMH. Requirements of the corporate.

These were fun and easy to make! Had a great time sharing them with the fellow ladies.

Next will share the SWAP's card and layout I made for this same event.

Thanks for looking.

A card for good

The card was made to be given to a customer and friend. She had an accident and I wanted to cheer her up.
I like the way how it came out fresh and feminine...
:)

Supplies: all from CTMH.

Thanks for looking.
